Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway 2026

The Giveaway

Every year before Thanksgiving, RNSLA distributes turkeys and full holiday meal sides to families across South LA who could use a hand. It's one of the simplest and most meaningful things we do — and it's become one of the traditions that defines who we are as a club.

This year we're targeting 200 turkeys with complete sides packages. Volunteers are needed starting at 8 AM for setup, and distribution begins at 9 AM on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsors can fund individual turkey packages or contribute to the overall goal.

What to Expect

• Turkey and holiday sides distribution (first come, first served)

• Volunteer shifts from 8 AM through noon

• Community gathering with music and fellowship

• Sponsor recognition and photo opportunities

• Kids' activities during distribution

Who Can Participate

The giveaway is open to:

• South LA families and community members

• RNSLA member volunteers

• Individual and corporate sponsors
